“Only then Nepal will be one of
the most beautiful Himalayan country
in the world.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Foreword
It
is said, Nepal is a beautiful
mountainous country. It is often
known as the land of ' Everest
' and the Land of ' Lord Buddha
'. Unfortunately, stream of blood
rushes in the birthplace of Lord
Buddha. Rhododendron is withered
and ever smiling Everest is depressed
these days. Smokey gunpowder smells
in the pages of morning newspaper
too. Then, where is peace?
Really, Nepal is
blessed with natural beauty. Beautiful
mountains, forests, rivers, waterfalls
and emerald blue lakes are the
ornaments of our country. The
geographical feature is such that
all the climates of the world
are found within 60 m. to 8848
m. above the sea level. Consequently,
because of the altitude variation,
different kind of birds, herbal
plants and flora and fauna can
be found here. Hence it is often
known an as the natural museum
in the world. But, despite
of the natural richness, why
is our country deserted like Ethiopia?
Nepal is the second
richest country in the world in
terms of water resources. But,
the Nepalese peoples' houses are
dark. What a destiny! Being an
agricultural country, Nepal purchases
rice from Malaysia, garlic-onion
from China, potatoes from Bhutan,
vegetables from Gorakhpur and
fruits from Kashmir. What a shame!
The selfish leaders sell all the
rivers to India. One can not cultivate
crops without irrigation. Why
to accuse Nepalese people? The
ministers loot all the foreign
aid and donation which have granted
for aiming to develop health,
education and water supply. As
a result, innocent Nepalese are
suffering tremendously. For instance,
a simple worker earns Rs. 100
per day (in average) but just
a kg of grapes cost Rs. 120. Isn't
this incredible? How a layman
survives then? Viewing the earning
and the inflation, Nepal is the
most expensive country in the
world. Why are the commodities
so expensive?
Having democracy,
Nepalese have right to speak.
But, what is the meaning of that
speech when the concern authority
does not hear at all. It is just
like make listening a melodious
music to a deaf. Here, someone
dies because of starvation and
someone dies because of indigestion.
There is a vast difference between
rich and poor. Commission, corruption
and nepotism have ruined the whole
country. All the high-ranking
people are above the law. The
court, education, health and security
have been commercialized. Now,
just think how painful is the
country's situation? How the
blinds sat in the responsible
spinning chair?
It is said that,
a river changes its course in
every 12 years. The advent of
democracy in Nepal is already
12 years. But, instead of progressing,
the country's condition is deteriorating
day by day. The chaotic conditions
have produced fear and frighten
among the people. In the name
of so-called democracy, peace
and development Nepalese brothers
are busy in the battlefield. The
motherland is wailing. If the
condition remains same, the existence
of our country disappears within
no time. Indeed, Why is happening
like this?
The
only reason of all these above
questions is:
Irresponsible leaders and the
lack of civic consciousness.
What is the solution
then?
For this, children should not
be deprived from education. All
the people must be taught the
voice of humanity, truths, moral
ethics (to keep promise, to keep
time & to keep responsibility)
and make them conscious. Because,
peace bursts out of the inner
heart not from the bullet. Only
the right education and civic
consciousness can lead us to the
path of peace and create beautiful
world. Moreover, the education
given to little children becomes
more influential and important.
Therefore, being
a firefly, I am going to dedicate
my whole life for the welfare
of the whole human society. I
hope, seeing a single firefly
other many fireflies may gather
for furnishing the delightful
destination of beautiful Nepal.
This is my continual perseverance
and promise.
Amen
